Global Wildlife Conservation – The World Wildlife Conservancy (GWC) is going Re:wild! Through our new brand, we emphasize that wildlife is not only part of us, but also the most important and cost-effective solution to the interconnected crises of climate, biodiversity and pandemics. While the public conversation focuses on innovation and technology to combat climate change, we continue to ignore the most effective solution: biodiversity. We believe we don’t need to reinvent the planet. we just have to recycle it.
As we work to expand the concept of ‘recycling’ to include how we live, think and treat nature, our new name is designed to make the brand more accessible to audiences more and more diverse. Wildlife work is a team effort, and we are lucky to have you as a partner working side by side for all wildlife.
Global Wildlife Conservation
After more than a dozen years on our journey as GWC, our model has evolved with the ideas and participation of each of you, and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve achieved together. We hope you share our excitement about this coming change, which we see as an exciting and significant opportunity to raise the importance of biodiversity, not only as a defensible solution, but also as the most important and effective solution to all three crises . We are grateful to all of you for your incredible work and commitment, and we are very excited to begin this next step in our journey together to help save the planet. Thank you!!
