Dog-friendly Winter Getaways

Dog-friendly Winter Getaways – There’s something about January that makes me want to sit down at my calendar and plan a ton of travel for the year ahead. It’s so cold and dark outside, it’s incredibly satisfying to sit down with your laptop and plan your adventures.

Even though we put a pause on our big international trips during the pandemic, we really enjoyed reacquainting ourselves with the Seattle area and all of its wonderful (and dog-friendly!) weekend excursions. After spending ten years in New York and Chicago, it was so fun to come back and rediscover old favorite vacation spots, as well as see all the new innovative glamsites, boutique hotels, and unique Airbnbs that have popped up. And what I liked most was to see how many of them preferred dog-friendly options. I feel so happy when we can take Dave and Lizzie on vacation.
